Beverly Cooper: Gosh. We've been going up these escalators for long. I think you kids are right. I've finally given in from thinking. Maybe we should give a ride on the elevator one last try. [As they have come up, they then reach the elevator.]

SnJGSAD Part 8[Dissolve. Now, a green minivan is pulling off at the 102-story stone building. Beverly gets out of the front seat and closes it up. She opens the side door, and Otto comes out of the car with Diane following him. The Snoopers, Robin, Marian and Little John get out, too. Beverly closes the door.]

Diane McKinley: [to Otto] I should have thanked you earlier, Otto, for helping me with my homework.

Otto Orange: Well, it had to be done while Beverly was talking to the policeman.

Beverly Cooper: That was a policewoman, Otto.

Otto Orange: Okay... policewoman. I suspected women could be police officers, but there are people guessing only men can

SnJGSAD Part 7[Cross-fade to the next afternoon. The caption reads "3:30". Beverly is now driving Diane and Otto back to her house. They now pull up into the driveway. Beverly stops the car there and gets out. She unlocks and opens the back doors. Diane and Otto then get out, carrying their backpacks. Behind them, Snooper and Jenny have just taken Angel and Lucky home from school.]

Otto Orange: [narrating, as Beverly comes to the door while he and Diane are waiting right there] Beverly had made sure to call the police while Diane and I were in school and she did some searching for Hilly, but stopped after realizing that we needed to be picked up from scho

SnJGSAD Part 6[Fade in. Now, it is still night and just outside the rooftop room in that skyscraper, Zeke is playing paddleball using his left hand. He is watching a cloud pass.]

Zeke Grahame: [groans] What could be taking X-Quincy and Marilyn so long? I think I'd better check on them. [continues playing paddleball and uses his right hand to take out his cellular phone. He pushes on the buttons.]

[Now cut to inside the elevator, where X-Quincy, holding onto the bagged dog, hears his cell phone ringing. He gets it out and answers it. The scene divides into two, the other half being of Zeke on the rooftop porch.]

X-Quincy: [into the phone, using his false

SnJGSAD Part 5[Cross-fade. Now, Beverly places two pancakes on Diane's plate, as next to it, there is a glass of orange juice and then goes to Otto (who is sitting at her right) and puts two pancakes on his plate, where there's another glass of orange juice next to it. She serves some to everybody. Cross-fade again as they are clearing their now-empty glasses, plates and forks off the table and placing them in the sink.]

Otto Orange: [narrating, off-screen] Before now, she did make sure she read us a bedtime story.

[Now, at 7:50 P.M., according to the caption, that night, Beverly is unfolding the sofa-bed. She then puts the three sofa cushions together o

Beverly Cooper: [holding her book with one hand, now, and looks at Hilly] Hilly, knock it off! I'm busy!
